Havasu Falls (Havasupai Falls) is a first-class hiking destination as it features natural beauty and challenging trails like no other. It is best to invest a few days trekking to Havasu Falls and then spending time to camp out under the star-filled sky during evenings. Getting to Havasu Falls is tedious especially if you are a beginner or first-time guest to this popular scenic attraction.

The Havasu Falls is not the first thing that you think of when we talk about the Grand Canyon. And if you are planning to extend your stay at the Grand Canyon to uncover its other secrets, you need to add Havasu Falls as one of your top destinations.

A guided tour is best when visiting Havasu Falls. As it is one of the most regions of the Grand Canyon, you need to be in the company of an expert guide that will show you hiking trails that are not only safe, but challenging too. Along the way, a tour guide will point you to historical and cultural marvels as well as fantastic viewpoints of the Grand Canyon. It’s easy to be lost from a group of hikers, but with a tour guide, you will most assuredly reach your destination, no matter how far or how remote the region is.

There are many Havasu Falls packages that are being offered to guests planning to stay at Havasupai Indian Reservation for a few days. There are packages that include a seven-day tour not only of the five falls, but of other attractions inside the reserve and surrounding areas. There are also shorter 3 to 4 day packages for those who can’t stay a week in Havasupai.

When planning to hike and trek around Havasupai, guests are recommended to carry their own gear, but make sure that they are lightweight and compact too. It’s always best to visit the Indian Reservation during the months of March to May and September to October.

Today, it is easier than ever to begin comparing rates online and you have the chance of even doing some side by side comparison to help streamline the process.

While there are a number of different websites that you can visit to get car insurance quotes from various providers, you need to be sure that you are visiting those that are credible and known for giving the most accurate information. Getting a good quote for your vehicle can sometimes take just a matter of minutes after you fill in the blanks and answer some questions. The more precise you are able to be with your answers, the more accurate your insurance quote is going to be.

Another good way to learn about insurance coverage options that are available through different providers is by talking with some of your friends and relatives about who they are using for a provider. Additionally, you can usually make a quick phone call to any insurance company to learn about the rate plans that they have and what you could expect to pay for a policy that has everything that you need.

No matter what you settle on, you will always find that comparing auto insurance rates will be the absolute best way to get all of the coverage and peace of mind that you are looking for while keeping the price point as low as possible. The end result will be you having the coverage that you need for your vehicle and the satisfaction of knowing that you shopped around.

wayne_jay

So you know how Lil Wayne and Jay-Z had a war of the words not too long ago? Jay-Z dissed Wayne, Wayne dissed back, Drake threw his hands up and announced he wanted no part of it, then Wayne said there wouldn’t be any repercussions for going after Jay (and Bey), etc. Anyway, find out what Jay said about his and Wayne’s spat after the jump.

SPOTTED: Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Kanye West go shopping

The Holy Trinity of hip hop and R&B were spotted at Intermix in NYC yesterday. In between shopping and sipping, Jay-Z hugged it out with Bey (kudos to Bey for rocking heels while pregnant while I look like Bambi) and Kanye even smiled at the paparazzi. I guess being in the Royal Fetus’ presence can make even a hip hop grinch’s heart grow three sizes.

Katy Perry working on unreleased songs

After the massive success she’s had with her sophomore album, (she recently announced her sixth single and filmed the video for it), it looks like Katy Perry’s sticking to the formula that works for her and is working on unreleased songs from the “Teenage Dream” sessions. This is according to producer Tricky Stewart, who worked with Perry on three songs from the album, who sat down with MTV to discuss what Katy’s up to in the studio.

“Katy and I went into [the studio] just to address some issues with records that we had done in the past that didn’t end up going on Teenage Dream. So we are in the process of just listening and freshening up things and getting ready for something special she has going on.”

Stewart wasn’t exactly sure what she was preparing to release, he did reveal the name of her new song.

“This song is really special. It’s called ‘Dressing Up,’ so it’s going to be a big record, I think. It definitely fits. It’s right there in what her sensibilities are as a musician and a songwriter. She doesn’t change much. She has a very keen musical taste. It’ll be really good.”

Next up for Gaga is the release of the “Monster Ball” DVD and “Born This Way” remix album. Both media will be released November 21 so mark your calendars, Little Monsters.

Rihanna’s #1 in the UK, gets rejected by Dudley

ri_glamour2011

Plus and minus for Rihanna this week. The singer just scored her sixth #1 in the UK with new single, “We Found Love,” and snatched the title away from Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera’s “Moves Like Jagger.” The track was released last Monday and sold 87K copies in four days so kudos to Rihanna. She’ll also be appearing on X Factor USA (this Wednesday on FOX) as a mentor to the contestants.

The minus comes courtesy of her rumored new beau, Dudley O’Shaughnessy, who was her love interest in the “We Found Love” video (and recently went to Club Mahiki with her). The former boxer and current model told The Mirror that there’s no future for him and Ri.

Find out what Dudley had to say after the jump.

“My career is my biggest priority right now. We had fun together, but I don’t know whether I will see her again to be honest. I’d like to go to America …but for work.”

He allegedly turned Ri down after she invited him to go on tour with her. Ah well, Ri’s busy too so I doubt she’s pressed about it.
